The Sidamo region in southern Ethiopia is one of only three coffee-growing areas with a protected designation of origin in the country.
Situated between 1,550 and 2,200 meters above sea level, Sidamo enjoys an ideal climate, fertile soils, and a wide variety of microclimates. This natural richness gives rise to coffees of remarkable complexity.
Farming methods are traditional, organic by default, and the cherries are hand-picked before being meticulously dried on raised beds. The result? Coffees with a unique aromatic depth, often marked by floral, fruity, and spicy notes.
