As indicated, we roast this coffee a little darker than our usual standards. This makes bring out aromas of roasted notes in addition to the basic aromas . This coffee is perfect for the connoisseur with traditional preferences. It will hold up well when served with milk, and even lots of milk!

The Madre Maria Association was created by a small group of producers who wanted to work together to raise the standards of their coffee and offer it as a community exchange product.
What began as an association of five farmers has grown to include over 55 small producers. The association continually improves its equipment and stays abreast of industry best practices.
