Here is some interesting information about the producers of this exceptional coffee:
Finca La Indonesia is located in La Union, 90 km from Pasto. Thanks to the efforts of farmers like Frank Torres, this region has been transformed from an area of illicit trade and violence into a resilient region dedicated to growing specialty coffee.
This farm is a legacy of the Torres family, known for its exceptional coffee production for over 40 years. Frank inherited part of this farm and is responsible for overseeing all coffee processing and processing activities. He is a Q-grader and has been passionate about coffee since he was a child.
He began his career in coffee working for Starbucks' specialty coffee program and as a green coffee buyer for exporters and importers. This network of experience helped him push the boundaries of processing, making his farm one of the most unique and innovative in Colombia. His constant efforts to improve farming practices helped him convert 90% of his farm to organic farming to preserve soil conditions and protect his crops from pestilence and devastation.
Frank's continued efforts to improve his coffees post-harvest techniques are evident in the clarity and smoothness of this year's harvest.
